Asylum

We handle affirmative asylum cases. These are asylum cases that occur outside the immigrant court system. They don’t involve court hearings, although they do involve an interview.

We’re picky about the asylum cases we take on. A good asylum case requires good evidence, and we’ll work with you to get that evidence. It also requires a good understanding of asylum law.

Our asylum clients come from many countries. Many are from the Middle East. They are seeking asylum because of their political or religious beliefs, or because their government won’t do anything to protect them from spousal abuse.

It’s important not to procrastinate an asylum case. We’ve successfully won asylum cases where our client had been in the U.S. for more than a year, but they’re more difficult to win than asylum cases filed soon after the individual arrives in the U.S. Don’t procrastinate–start your case right away.
